Plain-language summary: Your freezer list is stored locally on your device by default. FrostFork uses limited operational services to run, understand, protect, and improve the product. Advertising data is handled according to your consent choices and platform requirements.
1. Who this policy covers
This policy explains how Infinitum Imagery LLC (“Infinitum Imagery,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use the FrostFork mobile apps, web app, website, and related support services (collectively, “FrostFork”). It does not cover third-party websites or services that have their own policies.
2. Information we handle
Information stored locally
FrostFork stores freezer records—including food name, frozen date, estimated best-quality date, quantity, and notes you enter—in a database on your device by default. Preferences such as theme, language, accessibility, and privacy choices are also stored locally. Temporary cached content is stored separately and can be cleared from Settings without deleting freezer records.
Device and usage information
When enabled in a production build, Firebase Analytics may receive events about screens and feature use, along with device, app version, approximate region, and diagnostic identifiers. We do not intentionally include freezer-item names or notes in analytics events.
Crash and performance information
Firebase Crashlytics may process crash traces, device and operating-system details, app state, and diagnostic identifiers so we can diagnose failures. Logs may contain technical activity but are designed not to include your freezer-list contents.
Website and hosting information
Firebase Hosting and associated infrastructure may process IP address, browser type, requested resources, timestamps, and security logs to deliver and protect the site. Your browser may also store site data required for the local web app.
Advertising information
The free mobile app may use Google AdMob. Depending on your location, consent, device settings, and the ad configuration, Google may process advertising identifiers, IP address, device information, approximate location, ad interactions, and fraud-prevention signals. On iOS, FrostFork requests App Tracking Transparency permission before access to data that requires that permission. You can decline; ads may still be contextual or less personalized. Web advertising through Google AdSense is not currently active and this policy will be updated before activation.
3. Why we use information
- Provide and maintain FrostFork’s features.
- Remember your settings and privacy choices.
- Measure reliability and understand aggregated feature use.
- Diagnose crashes, prevent abuse, and protect the service.
- Deliver and measure advertising where enabled and permitted.
- Meet legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
We do not sell your freezer-list contents. We do not use those contents for targeted advertising.
4. Service providers and disclosures
We may use service providers such as Google Firebase for hosting, analytics, authentication infrastructure, databases, and Crashlytics, and Google AdMob for mobile advertising. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies and may act as independent controllers for some advertising activities. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect people or rights, during a corporate transaction, or with your direction.

5. Retention and security
Local records remain until you remove them, clear application/site data, or uninstall the app. Diagnostic and analytics retention is controlled through our provider settings and legal requirements. We use reasonable administrative and technical measures, but no storage or transmission method is completely secure. Until optional cloud sync is released and enabled, local records may not be recoverable after device loss, uninstallation, or cleared browser data.
6. Your choices and rights
- Delete freezer entries from My Freezer.
- Clear temporary cache from Settings.
- Change ad consent choices in Settings where available.
- Deny or change iOS tracking permission in system Settings.
- Limit advertising identifiers through iOS, Android, or browser settings.
- Disable or clear web storage through your browser.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of personal information, or appeal a privacy decision. Because core freezer records are local and not associated with an account, we generally cannot retrieve them from our servers. Contact us through the support channel below for requests relating to information we control.
7. International processing
Our providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, appropriate legal safeguards are used for cross-border transfers.
8. Children
FrostFork is a general-audience utility and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us so we can review and delete it where applicable.
9. Changes
We may update this policy as FrostFork changes. We will revise the “Last updated” date and provide additional notice when legally required. Material new uses—such as optional cloud sync or web advertising—will be described before they are activated.
